The King of Light the Order of the Dark Gods the First Initial Trilogy book is the second novel by Federico Carro know by his pen name Frederick A. Chariot, initially idealized with another title just before concluding his first novel: “The Secret of the Orchard”.

The novel is the first volume of the fantasy trilogy called: “The King of Light”, which tells the story of Fedrick, a crusader who is catapulted into a parallel world from his original world. This work published with Youcanprint is the last edition of the novel The King of Light the order of the Dark Gods.

The work is a fantasy novel written in a fairytale key and is presented in the same aulic style as the author’s first novel, but differs from the use of words, as it turns out to be a less sought-after but more dynamic language than the first novel, where here the plot unfolds slowly.

Instead in The King of Light The Order of the Dark Gods plays a lot on the dynamism of events, is rich in plot and details, as well as in metaphors, oxymorons and at times prevails in an Italian baroque style of the seventeenth century.

Structure and thematic

The novel presents a challenge through a long journey made by the protagonist, named Fedrick. Through a multitude of obstacles, he will look for his girlfriend Isabel, overcoming various difficulties that will lead him to challenge the Order of the Dark Gods, the evil order that governs the parallel world into which he is catapulted at the beginning of the work. The author was inspired by several video games, including Medievil, Diablo, and some Final Fantasy games, especially the eighth and tenth chapters of Final Fantasy.

The protagonist, on the other hand, is a mix between Aeneas, the protagonist of Virgil’s Aeneid, and Odysseus, the protagonist of Homer’s Odyssey. Fedrick represents the determination to achieve one’s goals, both through courage, determination, physical strength, and intelligence, depending on the obstacle that will appear in front of him. Furthermore, the character will significantly improve his fighting skills as well as his ability to understand certain situations and know how to manage and face them to the best of his resources.

The King of Light the Order of the Dark Gods the First Initial Trilogy book comes with different artwork inside, a renewed and fresher cover, and much more developed content than the previous versions.

The language is much simpler so that everyone can read it without difficulty; also, the grammar has been improved, with many grammatical and logical errors eliminated and small contexts inserted, which will be used for future novels. The author thus fully expresses the thought of his work through several improved pages, such as when, for example, he best explains his archaic language built by himself and includes a list of all the characters, places, and bestiaries found within the work.

Furthermore, Fedrick becomes a more reliable and serious character; in previous versions, the protagonist appeared a little clumsy and distracted, while now he becomes more concentrated and better understands the situations in which he finds himself, even if he still throws himself headlong into the adventures without thinking about the consequences.
